Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Kangqiao by IHG

Breakfast was good and varied, with Chinese and western options. It was also nice that the options would slightly change every day. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was very spacious. There's a metro station of line 11 close to the hotel (15 min walk), one stop away from Disney. The hotel also provided free shuttle bus to and from Disney. 2 buses in the morning towards Disney at 7:25 and 8:30, and a return bus at 21:30. Bottled water was provided every day.

The towels were changed every day, even if there was a message saying they wouldn't do so it the towels were left hanging. I don't think it's necessary to replace them every day. Our room was next to the elevator shaft, so we could heat whenever the elevator was moving, which can be annoying to some people. Other than that, the area was pretty quiet. Would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the room. Would be nice to be able to change the TV interface language to English. There's a vending machine in the lobby, but it only had one drink while we were there (4 nights).

I wish they have more English speaking staffs at the front desk. It wasn't easy to make arrangement for airport tax pick up.

The rooms are big, clean and modern. The staff is friendly. The breakfast has a good variety of food. The Disney shuttle is really useful.
