HAOSTAY

We had medical emergency while staying in HAOSTAY, and every member of the staff that we approached was exceptionally attentive and helpful. From calling an ambulance at midnight to providing prompt out of schedule cleaning the response great.

The hotel location and the view from the rooftop are over hyped. I didn’t have too much time on my hands, but on a single instance going to terrace on a bright sunny morning I could not figure out where Mt Fuji was. The breakfast offered was very limited, bordering unhealthy, even the Japanese version. One could buy better food from 7eleven. The layout of the area is not friendly for walking or biking, even though the hotel had rental bikes, and many people used them.

I like that it has a really good view of Mt.Fuji.

The location is close to the Kawaguchico station. The staff were very respectful, responsive, and kind. Very accommodating with leaving luggage on hold. The breakfast being included in the hotel accommodation fee was a great treat, we’ve enjoyed the Japanese breakfast. The room was great with amenities.

Just one thing, we can smell bad odour in our bathroom, like sewer smell. So we left the vent on all night. I imagine why there were two air purifiers in the room.

The room is not very senior friendly since there is a 10” step up to the bathroom. There are no places to place luggage, only a small hanger rack for jackets etc.
