This beautifully renovated apartment checks all the boxes for style and comfort with its original exposed rough-hewn wooden beams across the ceiling, its open concept style, glamorous bathroom & comfortable beds. You can follow the fairy path around the creek to dine in the pergola - who doesn’t love the sound of gravel crunching underfoot?

Cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen, and eat out on the back deck, enjoying the trickling sounds of the creek which runs through the property. Only a 5 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of "downtown" Picton, grab a bagel and cappuccino at Miss Lily's Cafe, or deep fried pickles at The Acoustic Grill. Loads of options in this adorable, tourist-friendly town.
Leave the stress of the city behind and wander rural roads bordered by century farms and historic homes, where the only traffic jams are caused by slow-going tractors or scads of sun-seekers heading to Sandbanks. Reconnect with nature by hiking, cycling, canoeing or fishing in and around The County’s 800km of shoreline. Feed your senses with music, theatre and performances set in picturesque vineyards or paired with a pint at the local pub. Get your hands dirty at in-studio art workshops or volunteering at an organic farm and visit a place where local isn’t a movement but a way of life.

An additional cleaning fee to cover the removal of pet dander from the property will apply.

PROS: The appartment is excellent, well appointed, efficient in its offerings. Very proximate to the Picton harbour and downtown. Lovely shower, nice sitting room, good wifi. CONS: It's presumptuous to have a mandatory question in this review about winery experience...it's possible each guest does not visit a winery(?) It was impossible to ignore sounds in the random wee hours of each night made by co-dwellers of the building walking around and talking. THe deadbolt needs to be aligned for smoother operation.

We had a pleasant stay and found the property well-equipped with everything we needed for our 2-night visit. The location is excellent—close to Main Street—and check-in/out was simple and hassle-free. Communication with the host was also excellent, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like shampoo, soap, and conditioner, which we didn’t expect.This could have easily been a 10/10 stay, but unfortunately the bedding cleanliness was a concern. While the sheets were fresh and clean, both bedrooms had a lingering sweat odor coming from the pillows and duvets. It’s something that could easily be missed unless cleaning goes beyond just changing sheets. Given that a cleaning fee was included, the odor was disappointing and did affect sleep quality.With attention to this detail, it would be an outstanding place to stay.
