Good quiet location, walkable distance to restaurants & cafes. Didn’t expect the steep steps to get to the front door. Made it tricky handling luggage in the rain. Very slippery. No indication of this in the photos. The noise from the people living above us was loud and woke everyone up between 4am - 7am. We could hear them talking. Also the only shower is in the ensuite - again not in the photos- but workable. The villa was nicely decorated, warm with Air conditioner & very clean. Beds very comfortable. Overall lovely place & would come back.

We had stayed upstairs the previous year but this flat was more spacious with a great outdoor seating area and a great kitchen. The bathroom was attached to a bedroom which was a bit annoying but we coped. We hope to come back next year.

Somewhat bureaucratic booking process but worth it in the end. Very handy to Ponsonby Road and inner Auckland. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen. TV is digital only so have your passwords handy. Single bathroom is ensuite to one of the bedrooms so a little awkward for two couples. Heaps of indoor living space and private deck.

Although everything about the flat was wonderful, and the amenities were great, the main problem is the noise from the upstairs flat, caused by inconsiderate occupants, which we experienced over two weekends. This is the only reason we would not stay again.
