Relaxing weekend getaway for the 4th of July. The cabin was very clean and communication with the host was excellent. We had everything we needed for a two nights stay. We were able to take our two dogs who enjoyed the yard and taking walks along the river. We did not go down to any of the swimming holes, but they were not far away and looked inviting. The loving room is very warm with the window AC unit from about 3-8 pm but was manageable for us. We enjoyed the screened in porch, sitting drinking coffee in the mornings as it was comfortable but too hot for us in the late afternoon. Outside temp was in the high 90’s as it is summer in TX and expected. We would stay again!

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay! Just as pictured with a beautiful river out back. We loved feeding the hummingbirds. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and Alan was extremely responsive to any communication. I would definitely recommend!

Cabin was great everything one would need was available. The deck overlooking the river was the best part. The host was awesome…super friendly very accommodating a very nice person. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved this house! The owner was very attentive and easy to communicate with, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house since we were in town for a conference, but every time we returned, we felt safe and comfortable even when coming in late at night. One of our favorite parts was sleeping on the porch and waking up to the cool, peaceful mornings. Such a refreshing and relaxing experience! Oh, and the record player! That was a fun treat too!
