The Black Spur Inn is a wonderful place for a weekend getaway, or a stop in travels along the Maroondah. We loved the setting, the comfort of the rooms, the friendly service and the delicious food and breakfast. If you are looking for a place close to Melbourne that is nestled in nature and offers comfort, good food and great service, then this is it. We really enjoyed our weekend retreat here and plan to be back soon. Thank you everyone at the Black Spur Inn for a fabulous stay.

We had a wonderful overnight stay. The hotel is a fantastic older hotel with comfortable rooms with lots of character and a very comfortable bed.
We had an excellent dinner overlooking the floodlit garden and tall forest surrounding the hotel.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
Comfortable lounge area for relaxing and reading
Lots to do during the day in this beautiful part of the mountains

Dirty water. Sewerage was smelly. Breakfast was lovely but waited one hour for meal .
