We absolutely loved our stay at Oceanfront Rhythm! Ellen was extremely communicative from when we first booked, including a thorough list of activities and restaurants before our trip, and a welcome basket of local treats! The pictures don't do the view justice. The neighborhood was quiet and we loved spending our mornings drinking coffee in the swinging patio chairs. The cottage is a short walk to downtown Kapa'a and about 15 minutes walk to Coconut Marketplace. The kitchen was well supplied and we spent hours on the porch (which was well shielded from the occasional Kauai showers) reading and listening to the ocean. The fans did a great job managing the mid-day heat and we were very comfortable at night. We would absolutely stay here again next time we visit the island and highly recommend it :)

The property itself was beautiful with a beach view and such a great central location to access the entire island. Ellen was incredible making sure we had everything we needed throughout our 10 day stay. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Kauai.

I have never stayed anywhere where the host has put so much effort into making sure our stay was well planned for and enjoyed. The house was perfect, the view was perfect, and the proximity to town was perfect. My favorite thing was to walk out each morning to watch the sunrise, then continue down the trail into town for coffee and breakfast at Java Kai. It was an absolute wonderful vacation. I would recommend the house to anyone who wants a relaxed, low key central stay on the island.

Ocean Rhythm is a delightful cottage in a non-touristy neighborhood. You can be at the beach in less than a minute and the lanai is perfect for watching the sun rise. The decor is very attractive. The kitchen offers everything you need to make all meals. The host was excellent and responsive, and provided extensive information in response to our interests. She KNOWS Kauai. The cottage shares the property with a larger house. Both have use of a cabana that makes a great additional dining spot. We loved our 5 night stay.
