The breakfast has improved since we last stayed,more choice. Bar and dinning area has had a total refurbishment. Good price of drinks in bar. Room we stayed in fresh bright , well decorated,clean and comfortable. Staff friendly.

Room 101 is at top of stairs, we heard fire door banging lots during the night desturbed sleep. Shame cause room was lovely.

Fantastic look to all the rooms. The whole hotel has been refurbished to a high standard and is all the better for it..

Nothing to complain about

The staff were very friendly, smiley and helpful. The air con in the room was a bonus and the black out curtains were much appreciated. The food was fair, would have been nice if the coffee machine was working as not all options were stocked.

The towels in the room were hanging in the bathroom and had stains that looked suspiciously like they weren't cleaned not only that the shower also had some suspicious stains, and to top it off there was a towel left in the shower folded up on the floor, which was odd. The toilet has urine stains around the back of the lid. There was also a dirty spoon under the table that wasn't exactly hidden from the cleaners view. As a cleaner myself It felt like the room was rushed and only the very basic was done. The mattress In room 128 definitely needs replacing I feel, it was very lumpy and dipped on one side. In the room the tap water tasted very chlorine like am not sure why. Mentioned downstairs to a caterer that the coffee machine was malfunctioning but noone came to sort it.
