Crowne Plaza Adelaide by IHG

The reception area overlooking the hills is beautiful, as is the bar, pool and restaurant. We really enjoyed Koomo dining, fantastic food and drinks. The buffet breakfast was good (except for the coffee, but there was barrista coffee available for a charge ;)). Quality complimetary water in the rooms. Good water pressure in the shower :) Great location for gardens, zoo, museum, library, east end, city if wanting to venture out, but fabulous to just stay and relax at the hotel too.

The room had a bit of a damp smell after showering. Our view from a lower level on the hills view side was obcsured such that we coudn't see the hills. The concept of a rooftop pool does suffer from the effects of wind exposure!

The room was clean, rooftop area was quite nice, staff we encountered were all very friendly and lovely.

The room for $300/night was TINY! How is that a king room? I also booked and messaged the hotel weeks in advance and explained we were coming to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday, could we have a room on a higher level with a nice view. They put us on the 6th floor with a view of a construction site! The birthday card they left was addressed to ME. No attention to detail! Terribly styled room, didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel, no luxury at all! We will never stay again!
