Spring Tides is found nestled in a cul-de-sac amongst similar properties within the heart of the picture perfect coastal village of Beadnell. This semi-detached house has had a full makeover in 2019 and benefits from being adjacent to the water-filled quarry, which attracts an abundance of birdlife. The open plan living area leads to a conservatory, which gives direct access to the rear garden with steps down to the fenced waterside, and the first floor is home to two bedrooms and shower room.
There is a small sandy bay speckled with rocky outcrops close by, which leads to a long sandy beach that stretches to Seahouses, 2 miles north. Beadnell is a popular holiday destination and the glorious golden sandy beach that’s popular with water-sports enthusiasts is around a 15 minute stroll from Spring Tides. Two miles along the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. Horse riding, fishing and golf on the links close by are all available in this popular location. There is a good choice of places to eat, shops and pubs within Seahouses too. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picture perfect village of Bamburgh, where Holy Island, the birthplace of Christianity in the UK and site of Lindisfarne Castle, can be seen from the unspoilt golden, sandy beach.
Just a short drive inland takes you to the market town of Alnwick with its historic cobbled streets, and Alnwick Castle and Gardens are popular visitor attractions. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. Although the weather wasn’t too good having the conservatory was great as we had the wild life to watch. Good eating places in walking distance and wee shop for papers and daily essentials. Would definitely stay again.

Close to the beach and The Landings Found the short cut to the front which cuts the walk in half! Would definitely go back

lovely, peaceful,relaxing, everything it the house was clean and smart, with fantastic scenic walks only moments from the door

Location good with the quarry at the back filled with water, wild life good, property ok needs a better clean, when they say no dogs upstair how do you stop them, should have a gate at bottom of stairs, no mirrow in bed room or plug to dry your hair, more information needed on the house, the worst thing the electric shower did not work cold showers for week, It was in the book complaining about the shower nothing done to sort.
