The lodge itself was lovely with a great layout for guests. The process of getting the key was super simple and efficient and any and all information was given beforehand in a timely manner. Response rate was excellent from the host whenever we had any questions. The overall cleanliness of the lodge was great on the inside. Only concerns we noted were that the beds smelt slightly, with an almost musky smell as if they were slightly damp or had not dried properly. Additionally, the toilet flusher in the en suite was not attached so the toilet was constantly draining so we had to pull the back off the toilet in order to properly flush the toilet. Furthermore, the balcony area had a lot of bird poo due to swallows nesting, however, we understand how this can be outside of the hosts control. Lastly, the lid of the hot tub was very worn and it proved quite difficult to lift especially as we were trying to be delicate so that we did not break it. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again however I would maybe take my own bed clothes and the things listed above would have made it 10/10. Overall I would rate this stay 8.5/10. Thank you for our stay.
