Our Habitas Namibia

The lodge itself is beautifully situated in a stunning and highly scenic location. The drive through the park to reach it was a wonderful experience, offering plenty of opportunities to observe wildlife along the way. Overall, the layout of the lodge and its intimate atmosphere worked very much in its favour, creating a unique and enjoyable experience despite some of the areas that could be improved.

The hotel offers a luxurious stay; however, it appeared to be significantly understaffed. For example, the chef was carrying guests' luggage to the tents, and there were long waiting times for almost everything. For a higher-end lodge, I would also say that the tents were rather basic in terms of amenities. For instance, there was no coffee or tea-making facility available. Additionally, some parts of the tents were in need of repair and refurbishment. The food was tasty, but the selection was quite limited, so there is definitely room for improvement in this area as well.

This place is exceptional. From you arrive to you leave everything is just as you see in the photos. All the staff are wonderful. They and this place became the highlight of our Namibian trip!

A tented lodge in a beautiful location in the desert! The restaurant lounge was a perfect spot for drinks, views, and relaxation! Karina and Moses, the staff that we met, made our stay much more pleasant!!

- the tent was torned in several places in the room. For the price that you pay for accommodation, this is not acceptable! - the rust in some furniture of the room (bathroom doors and wardrobe) was so visible! painting them would be an option! - there are very few people working in the lodge. The same people that served us at 05:30 in the morning where working until 22:00 at night at least... Some upgrades to the details of the room and generally should be made! Also some more staff must be employed!! Otherwise if you want customers so connected with the nature, maybe you should also think of lowering the price per stay, because only the good view is not enough and it certainly doesn't feel value for money when you visit the room!
