This was our second year doing a long ski weekend at Haley Pond House. The communication from Morton & Furbish is excellent, the house is very well equipped and comfortable, and the location is perfect. We loved taking a short walk across the pond into town.

The location was great, close to town and ice cream treats, the house itself was just right for our multi age family vacation. Our grandsons had a ball fishing off the dock, paddling kayaks and capturing (temporarily) frogs. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment so cooking was easy and the deck was perfect for enjoying the delightful weather. Our only complaints were the limited access to the water as the dock had no ladder and getting into and out of the water as a 70+ year old grandmother was impossible. Morton and Furbish were responsive to our requests and very helpful.

Lovely property for our extended family. Clean, well stocked, and peaceful. Loved hearing and seeing all the loons, also had visits from deer and duck! Pond is perfect for kayaking. I had thought it would be good for swimming, alas, it is not. My own fault for not researching more thoroughly; lots of rushes and lily pads... I hopped onto a float with my book on a windy day and was blown clear across the pond; paddles strongly recommended!The deck is large and welcoming, you will definitely want to bring camp chairs for gathering there or around the fire pit. Restaurants, shops, and ice cream only a 5 minute walk to town. Property management was kind and responsive, would recommend!
