I really enjoyed my stay, especially seeing the Northern Lights! The people were amazing and made the experience even more special. This is a perfect place for solo travellers who have a car and want to explore the area independently.
Having a car is essential if you stay here, as public transport is quite limited. During my stay in the first half of September, I heard several other guests express disappointment with the lack of convenient public transport.
The kitchen is located in the basement, which is dark and not particularly pleasant for preparing or eating meals. A brighter, more welcoming space would make a significant difference to the overall experience.

Loved the decor, owners really care about the place, it feels like home from home. Information in the hostel was really clear.

Great staff and facilities and very clean
Kitchen too small for peak times.
I booked 4 nights in a row...but had to move the last night because someone was moving into my bed....didn't make sense.
