Although an older residence, it was well maintained with a few minor issues. Nothing that affected the stay. My only concern was the dining area, older seating and limited table space for games. But luckily we had beautiful weather (for most of the stay), so the outdoor dining table worked out for us. Quick responses from host company when I contacted them. All enjoyed the pool and hot tub. One suggestion - I think it would be better if the grill was not on the deck. We did not use it as concerns regarding the location. I’m sure most would have no issue with it being so close to the kitchen, but due to prior problems we would not use it where it was located. Highly recommend Brindley Beach!

The check in process was a little almost flawless, aside from the keypad on the house losing it's memory every day. We eventually just used the garage entrance for the rest of our stay. I will say, you cannot truly enjoy this beach if you do not have a 4x4 vehicle. We drove to the 4x4 beach every day and it was amazing! Every day we were within 50 ft. of the wild horses. I am an avid surf fisherman, and the fishing did not disappoint either! We could not have asked for better weather for the entire stay. The pool was great after a day on the beach we could come back and just relax in the backyard. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. And having the Harris Teeter right next to us was very convenient for the dinners we decided to cook at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit OBX. And be sure to climb the lighthouse at sunset, you will get some amazing pictures!
