The house was very comfortable and beautiful, especially the surroundings were fantastic... the garden, the orchard, the swimming pool, the pingpong table, the architecture of all the buildings of the chateau, the superb views over the valley from the garden. The house was large with thick walls - great against the heat - and everything was there in this second residence: kitchen supplies, lots of towels, books, dvd's... We loved the "gated community" feeling as we had two kids with us who could play safely.
A minor detail.. We preferred to eat outside in a restaurant or to picnic in the large garden or to eat inside instead of using the private terrace at the backside of the house as this space felt a bit small (only due to the contrast with the spacious surroundings).
