Gary is a wonderful person. We enjoyed meeting him and his wife and his sweet dog Ginger.Gary's place is good. We enjoyed it very much. But the communication prior to check in could have been better. The place is clean overall but there were a few areas in the bathroom that were missed. The dock on the lake is great but the outdoor furniture was full of cob webs and we had to clean that off. It was easy to do and then all was good.Gary is accommodating and he is cool. We would stay there again.

Property was well kept. View was spectacular . Met Gary on our way out. Seems like a very friendly guy, wish we had more time with him. It was clean and comfy.

We enjoyed our stay at this very peaceful downstairs/basement apartment. The owners live upstairs in the rest of the house. The property was beautiful and well maintained with a nice lakeview and easy lake access. It is a short drive to Florence and to the dunes/coast. We had a little trouble figuring out the access code to get into the apartment and ended up having to knock on the host's door to ask them for it. To which, they were responsive and happy to provide the door code. Not sure if this was an oversight on our part, an issue with vrbo, or if it just wasn't included in the check in instructions.

It wasn’t clear from the listing that this was below the hosts house. We didn’t receive check-in instructions. Also, sheets on the bed had a stain, so had to change them out ourselves.
