GoodMo Budapest Smart Rooms

Good location with a lot of shops nearby. Helpful staff.

The bathroom was not very clean. The shower could not be placed correctly into the right place as the water flowed outside the bath. Opening all the doors each time carrying your phone, even when going to the bathroom was not convenient at all. The idea to buy a card instead of using your phone is not good at all - I am not willing to spend 5 extra euro for something I will not use after leaving the hostel. Moreover, it was very noisy as there was a bar just below the room.

Breakfast is available but not included in the room price. I didn't try it. I liked that it was quiet - the rooms are not very soundproof (you can hear people talking in the corridor), but fortunately there were no noisy guests. There is a good ratio of bathrooms/toilets to rooms (about 1:3), so I never had to wait to get one. The decor is plain but everything is clean. The shared lounge is spacious and the kitchen well organised. Tea/coffee making facilities are available in the shared kitchen but not in the rooms (not in mine, at least). It's a good area with shops, restaurants and public transport nearby.

The towels are quite small but adequate. The duvets are quite thin, and I was a little cold one night. It would be good to have a couple of spare blankets available in the rooms for guests who feel the cold. I was very nervous about being locked out of my room at night - if you shut your phone inside your room by mistake, or you can't get online for some reason, you would be locked out. Once, I was outside the building and my phone wouldn't log on to the app, but someone else let me in and after that I was able to connect and open the doors to my room.

Convenient location. Exceptional staffing and communication.

Showers seen better days but still works! Super hot in rooms but 2x fans so helped a lot.

very good location

It was very hot, they said there would be air conditioning but there was a fan, the windows were very old
