Riverbank House Bed and Breakfast Innishannon

Riverside was one of the highlights of our trip! The owners are friendly, helpful and interesting people. The grounds are way bigger than expected with lots of places to explore including a garden, chicken coop, an interesting old building that is a classical Irish ruin. The hosts provided great stories about all the different lives the main house has lead - restaurant, disco, etc. as well as their wonderful story on how they acquired the estate. They also provide fresh jelly and jam from the garden every morning! The view of the river and all the wildlife is incredible. I highly recommend visiting. I will stay again when I'm in the area.

The main entry for turning in off the road is a little hard to locate initially but a very minor issue. Easy to find after the first time.

Very friendly welcoming hosts. Lovely old house. Good substantial breakfast with good quality ingredients including produce from their garden. Nice guests sitting room with river views. Guests were welcome to have takeaways delivered and eaten at the dining table.

A second bedside light would have been nice though there wasn't really space.

The gardens and trails were beautiful. The view was lovely. The house was very nicely decorated to keep with the history with the house. Very welcoming!!
