Loved everything about this B&B! The rooms were clean and had all the necessities, breakfast had a good variation of options and the owners are a friendly and helpful family that made me feel welcome. Although the location is a bit out of the city centre, I liked its quiet neighbourhood and how safe I felt at all times. The distance to tourist attractions is mostly walkable if you're in healthy condition, but there are also two nearby bus stops that take you wherever you want to quickly and frequently.
Honestly? Nothing. The B&B provided everything I expected and more, especially after spending a good two hours of looking at other places before finally finding this one

Wowsahs we hit Edinburgh the same time as the fringe & tattoo, billions of ppl & shops & things to do & see, really enjoyed ourselves maybe a bit overwhelming, was like London on a larger scale, the property oh yes the property, a little dated but I would imagine every property is there, but hey it’s got character & Simon the proprietor was really friendly & knew all the tricks, a large communal fridge downstairs was so handy to keep our drinks cool, plenty of local parking, & Simon kindly took up/down our luggage
Just be careful of the stairs as a little narrow at top floor, happy to eat muesli all week but if you want a fry up there’s plenty of shops & there’s a pub over the road, can’t remember name, was out of this world!!
