The property was beautiful and the units were spacious and lovely! We would love to stay here again!

The accommodations are outstanding, we had 14 of us and the 2 villas were perfect so that everyone could be comfortable and have their own space. They have all the amenities to cook and bbq as well as everything you need to enjoy the pools or beach. Easy access to both, the pool and hot tub literally steps away. The beach a couple minutes walk through the property. Dukes restaurant on site was a fantastic family dinner or lunch location which we enjoyed a couple of times. Very convenient to shopping, other resorts, golfing and eating choices. Many options for exploring and sightseeing within reasonable drives. All in all we had a fabulous time, would highly recommended this resort, it is beautiful and well maintained. Hopefully we will return soon! Rob and extended family

The resort was amazing we stayed in one of the villas. My wife, daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren went as a family vacation. We enjoyed every aspect of the trip except for the staff. The reason for the overall 3 is because of the staff not very friendlily. Every morning at 5 am my son-in-law would go sit in the lobby, check phone messages and enjoy the area. The last two mornings of our trip one of the security guards profiled my son-in-law questioning him if he belonged there. He showed him his blue wrist band that everyone received when checking in and told to wear at all times. Apparently, that wasn't good enough, keeping in mind other people were in the lobby and the security didn't check to see if they belonged there. The next morning, he did the same thing only there was 4 security guards. Again, a gentleman sitting right near my son-in-law no wrist band and they didn't do anything until they were pressed to do so. I can say a lot more but have made a request to the management company to file a formal complaint, they said the security at Honua Kai is not managed by them but would relay my request. I gave them all my information, you would think someone would have called immediately. We spent a lot of money on this trip only to have it ruined by some very rude employees.
