Enter your property via electronic lock, and forget the hassle of carrying keys! Your new home away from home may appear quaint from the outside, but stepping inside you'll be in for a surprise. The tall ceilings make this cozy getaway, feel large and airy. The living space features a sofa, a flatscreen television in a large armoire, and vibrant artwork. Adjacent, you'll find the dining space perfect for a home cooked meal. The shelves are stacked with books galore! Grab a read, and head out to the patio which is covered by large trees and ivy - A serene reading scene.
The kitchen is situated toward the back of the home, and offers all of the modern amenities one could ask for. The cabinets are stocked with all of the cookware essentials to make your favorite meals. Just down the way, you'll find a local grocery store to grab your spices and more! Just a few steps away, guests can find the unique and spacious bathroom that features a shower and tub/combination. Heading upstairs to the loft, the king size bed awaits and is open to the rest of the home below.
Head West and dine at some of the city's best restaurants, like 700 Drayton, Fox & Fig, and Hitch. Due North toward River Street, guests can shop til they drop inside various local retailers, like The Paris Market & Brocante, 24e, and shopSCAD to name a few. Guests are about a 15-20 minute walk to the River front, 10-15 to City Market, and a quick 8 minute walk to Forsyth Park.

Parking is on-street and non-metered, which is a first come first serve basis. Typically, guests do not have trouble finding parking in this part of town. Guests are encouraged to keep note of the posted Sweep Zone signs.

I am giving you my honest assessment.
Overall the place was comfortable and had everything we needed.
A few things could have been better.
Bedroom and bathroom were not on the same level making nighttime trips to the bathroom risky as there are 10 stairs down, which are painted black so that missing the last step was something both of us did.
When the stove was turned on the smell of gas was strong, so we didn't use the stove.
The bedroom was quite warm compared to the lower floor and the slipping roof was a bit too low over the bed. The mattress was quiet with and it was uncomfortable sleeping in the divot.
The back yard was quaint, but there were 3 large planters with standing water and mosquitos. They should be removed or properly planted to prevent standing water.
Location was excellent, making evening walks in the area very pleasant.

The property was just the right size for my husband and I and our dogs. The street parking was great. Make sure you read the signs as they do street cleaning and if you are parked on that side of the street, you will get a ticket.The location was great; we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go.

Everything was stocked. All appliances worked and we loved the location!!! :) check in was super easy and timely communication prior to it.

We’ve been visiting Savannah for the past 13 years and always look forward to our stays. Unfortunately, this particular property fell short of our expectations.On the positive side, the location was excellent—perfect for walking and with convenient access to free on-street parking. The home was also very spacious, and we truly appreciated the owner's flexibility in accommodating our dog.However, we did encounter several issues that affected our experience. Most notably, we had a persistent problem with cockroaches (palmetto bugs). Although property management said they would send someone to address it, no one ever came, leaving us to deal with the issue throughout our stay.Outdoor space is important to us, as we enjoy relaxing outside at the start and end of the day. Unfortunately, this area was so neglected that we didn’t feel comfortable using it. The loft bedroom also presented safety concerns—the dark brown steps, despite lighting, made it difficult to see clearly, and both of us missed the last step at some point.Additionally, the AC did not adequately cool the loft, the ceiling fan was nonfunctional, and we were grateful a box fan was provided. Some of the kitchen items were quite worn and could be easily and inexpensively replaced to enhance the overall experience.We’re sharing this feedback in the spirit of improvement. We love Savannah and want every visitor to enjoy their stay here. Small details truly do make a big difference.
