Martinique on the Gulf is a lovely private community with uncrowded beaches. The property was in geat shape. The only problem we had was getting the key in and out of the door which we figured was due to sand in the key hole. Very enjoyable week.

The house was well laid out, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The golf cart is a wonderful addition to the rental. Family friendly and clean with everything you need for your stay. Our family of 6 really enjoyed our time there. However, we did have an issue with the washing machine which needed to be repaired or changed out. When used it would vibrate so badly it would bounce around the area and could be heard throughout the house. We reported the issue first thing Monday morning and it was checked out on Monday afternoon. We received a report from our host that it would be replaced. They were not able to schedule the replacement before our week ended. This house had a charcoal grill and according to the rules sheet in our house it specifically stated NO charcoal grills allowed. Secondly, the guest was required to clean the grill which is a nasty job that we would rather not do when on vacation.

House was very nice and was a good space for our family of 6. The Martinique complex was a very nice, quiet community. Both pools were very nice. It was great having a golf cart to ride around the community. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Check in and check out were a breeze, the home was clean, and the description is accurate. The pictures are not up to date as some updates have been made (carpet, paint, bedding). My only disappointment was that there were no cleaning tools (broom, dust pan). There was a vacuum that was not working properly. Due to Covid I brought cleaning items (bleach, additional dish clothes & towels, sponges, dishwasher detergent, and dish soap) because I did not know what would be available. I was glad I did because there was nothing. The home was clean, but I would have liked to been able to sweep up messes. In addition the kitchen had basics only. Again, I brought items (sandwich bags, garbage bags, paper towel, napkins, paper plates, body soap, toilet paper, kleenex) not knowing what would be provided due to Covid and I needed all of the above. I would stay at this property again, and recommend it to friends. I would definitely suggest brining extra of what you use daily.
