HOTEL THE POINT Kiyomizu Gojo

Amazing location - clean and well equipped. Spacious and easy check in guide provided. We loved it! Fantastic to have a washing machine and space to hang clothes to dry. Great value for money!

It was a little musty in the corridor and due to the enclosed shower room - but we used the fan and the air con and it was no problem. Perhaps slightly noisy on the ground floor but you’re in a city!

We were a bit apprehensive about this hotel because of its low review score and reviews about lack of cleanliness. The room we got on the ground floor was spotless, large and well designed. We had a very comfortable 5 night stay. The room had ample space to open our 2 large suitcases. This hotel certainly does not deserve its low review score. It ought to be a 9 out of 10 review score. There is a washing machine and a large clothes drying rack but be mindful that clothes do take time to dry in the room.

Not much not to like but if i had to say something: there is a small step to and after the room passage. However, after tripping a couple of times you remember it is there 😀. There was a safe box in the room, but it was locked, and despite several communications assuring us that the management company had contacted the owner about it, the safe was not opened for use throughout our stay. Not much of an issue as Japan is very safe and no one enters your room during your stay.

Location, Kitchen, self-checkin / self-checkout. Customer service response is quick and effective.

None

The Room was spacious. Shower area was different than the toilet area and it saved a lot of time.

Beds were very light and movable they had tires in them. So not comfortable.
