A large room off a common area with kitchen, dinning area and living space. The owners are really lovely. The lady of the house even came to the gate to give me a phone back that I'd left behind and was then in a rush to get back to the airport. Stress! Oh, and it's in a gated compound. There are lots of restaurants close by and a giant mall! Overall I was very comfortable.

The kitchen is a little run down but this only matters to those who wish to utilise it. Overall it could do with a face-lift but it's a minor issue.

Located in a centric, safe location in zone 10. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Location is so close to the oakland shoping mall, 5 mins walk brilliant plus the hosts are so kind, considerate and helpful, a great budget low cost and secure loction - you must give it a try as you will love it

The owner is very nice and welcoming. The room was clean. The shower was nice. Bed is comfy. Area is safe.

It is not in a fun area. Do not stay here if you are at all young and want to have fun. Everywhere closes at 8pm, it is a gated community and you need to be let in and out. It is very very quiet and boring. The only thing close to the property is the mall. You have to take an Uber everywhere if you want to go anywhere fun. There is no ac (!!!) and it gets up to 30 degrees during the day so it is always hot in the room. There is very little privacy as the bedrooms are all of a common room/kitchen and the windows are open for “air”…. The same windows are in the bathroom with no screens so mosquitoes get in. I got a lot of mosquitoes bites because I forgot to close the bathroom door. I had a very hard time sleeping both nights. There is a large window with a screen but there’s a street light that shines right into the room (room 4) so you have your pull down the blind to keep the light out but then there is no air flow and the room is so stuffy and hot I could not sleep. They provide you with a very small fan that doesn’t really do anything. From being bitten by mosquitoes and being too hot to sleep or hang out in the room during the day, with not much to do around you … I would not stay here again. I can’t understand how anyone can sleep with no ac in a hot stuffy room. Next time I come to Guatemala City, I will stay in zone 4 as zone 10 is very boring and overpriced. Nothing to do with the property but just FYI.
