Stavros Apartments Kontokali next to Gouvia Marina

We arrived about 10 pm and Stavros was wailing with a warm welcome to give us the keys to a lovely studio apartment on the first floor.The apartment was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed well equipped little kitchen and adequate bathroom.The apartment was cleaned every other day and the sheets changed twice during our seven days stay.Stavros is a very kind and helpful host always ready with advice and helpfulness a very nice touch was the present he gave us when we were leaving.The apartment is in an excellent position very close to the marina,buses and supermarket altogether a lovely place to stay highly recommended

Nothing at all

Close to bus stations, stores and gouvia town. Very clean and tidy, Stavros is a really nice guy and kind host.

Shower platform a bit small

The apartment had everything we needed. Very clean and comfy. Our balcony was in shade late afternoon which was perfect, as the temperatures were mid 30°s. Our host (Stavros I guess) was super friendly and even gave us a leaving gift. Ideally located near to Gouvia Village centre, bus links and the marina.

The only downside was the noise from the main road as the building is literally 20 metres from the road. Thankfully we had an apartment facing away from the road, so our balcony was quiet. There was however a small corridor that led to our front door which faced the road. I think if there was a secondary door at the entrance to that corridor it would really help silence the noise coming in thru the apartment door. We did get used to the noise after a few days but this would definitely help.

location was great

the entire apartment smelled of smoke and the mattress was very hard, felt almost like sleeping on a hard floor.
