Step into a beautifully and tastefully remodeled beach cottage with original wooden floors, lovely mid century details, solid Carerra marble bathroom, and redwood deck. Open living space with dual sliders to redwood deck, one full bedroom with one convertible dining room open to kitchen that sleeps additional 2 people, and sleeper bed in living room along with couches for plenty of comfort and entertaining potential. We like to think of ourselves as a authentic historic cabin. If you want total luxury and bling this likely isn’t for you, but if you want an authentic original cottage with 100 year charm and rustic features like original plank flooring, and lots of character we think you’ll like what we have for you. This property is everything that the host said it would be. My suggestion is that once you enter the front doors, you go immediately to the outside patio, breathe in that amazing sea air, listen to the faint sounds of the crabbing boats, and absorb the tranquility. The kitchen was well equipped which we found to be a plus as we cooked most of our meals and ate in This made it nice so we could enjoy local wines without deciding who would be the DD. The decor for the cabin was appropriate, bed and extra sleeping areas were comfortable. We would definitely stay again when coming to Bodega Bay Our host was very helpful, and the communication was excellent.

Casa Blowdega is such a charming little cottage in a great location. We enjoyed our weekend getaway here. The easy parking and check in process was also a plus! We had a question for the owner when we arrived, he went out of his way to get in touch with us and was so accommodating. An added bonus were the parking passes for use at the state parks/beaches in the area. We will book this cutie again in the future!
