Very nice stay, very nice apartment with a lot of thoughtful touches for extra comfort, very gracious host, beautiful views! And absolutely spotless and clean.

My husband and I loved our lil’ stay at this comfy, clean & homey lake house. Michelle is a great host, and has a wonderfully warm & inviting place. You can tell she has put such care & intention into every decorative detail. We will for sure be returning and are so thankful to have found this captivating retreat right on the water! We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, and just floating in the lake right off the dock. We didn’t realize how much we’d enjoy the peaceful no-wake lake.

Michelle was a perfect host. She was available to greet us and guide us to the private entrance, and she even offered to help carry our bags. The apartment was absolutely stunning, and she had provided so many extras to enjoy during our stay. The views of the lake are incredible at all times of day, and there are even art supplies available should you feel the desire to capture it (I did, even though my art skills are amateur at best). My husband and I consider this the best VRBO stay we have had so far, and it was a perfect setting to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. Do book yourself a stay at The Green Door on Avalon Lake!

This was a lovely rental on Lake Avalon. The view was great! And the rental was sparkling clean, perfect set up. Extremely relaxing & Michelle was an amazing host. We will definitely come back!!!Mike & Kathy
