right on the camino! room was clean. lovely big property with nice little terrace and a gorgeous view. staff are sweet. there’s only one restaurant nearby so they shuttle you there for dinner which is nice! breakfast is served in the common room in the morning. there’s also an atm and pharmacy right next door

The proximity to the Camino was great

The bed was quite uncomfortable . The pool was empty and not available . Breakfast was rushed and very cramped for space . Only opportunity for an evening meal was a lift to a very busy restaurant. Worked for us but not so for others that night .

My apt was very clean. The staff was attentive and worked very hard to be as helpful as possible.

My shower did not drain. It was very hot during the day and there is no AC. Actually, there is an AC, but you’re not allowed to use it.

Beautiful view, very close to Caminho, comfortable bed.

Of all the nights we've spent in Portugal, last night was the only one when mosquitoes were an issue—and they were a major problem. We recognize that this was partly our fault because we left the windows open. However, we've slept with the windows open at every other stop along the Camino without encountering mosquitoes. What made the situation worse was that, once we realized the problem, we closed the windows and tried to turn on the air conditioning. Unfortunately, there was no remote or visible control, and despite checking throughout the room and trying every switch we could find, we couldn't get it to work. We acknowledge that we could have gone to reception for help, but by then it was late, we were half asleep, and we weren't dressed to leave the room. With the windows closed and no air conditioning, the room became incredibly hot, and we barely slept, which made today‘s walk really hard.
