Really liked the place. Great hosts and a beautiful patch of land shared by a few wee cottages. I especially liked the giant bath in the one we stayed in. The cottage has parking and is a very short drive away from either a park and ride or the train station to get into Whitby. Very peaceful and refreshing stay. Would book again when visiting Whitby and the surrounding environs.

The accommodation was truly amazing, not many properties are as described, The Coach House is truly magnificent. From booking to going the experience has been seamless. This hidden gem far exceeded my expectations, there are enough amenities locally if you don’t wish to travel into Whitby.

Robert and Julie greeted us on our arrival and showed us around the property. It was spotlessly clean, with such attention to detail paid to all the fixtures and fittings. The bed is extremely comfortable and spacious. A very beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Parking on site and the Coach House has a secure outside seating area, which was part of the reason we chose the property as we had our dog with us. An amazing dog shower on-site for use by all residents, which was ideal after a trip to the beach or to cool down after a walk. You can go on walks from the property with is situated within in easy reach of beautiful coastal and inland places to visit. The village of Sleights has a village shop, baker, butcher and an amazing fish and chip restaurant which is well worth a visit! We couldn't fault the property or the lovely hosts who made us feel so welcome. Thank you both.We hope to return again one day.

'GARDEN' was a tiny tiny bit of patio. Very disappointed. No umbrella to protect us from the sun. Communal garden had no seating at all. Absolutely nothing in cottage not even a bottle of water. Need to take absolutely everything except toilet roll. Nothing in rest of property either like even a box of tissues or air freshener etc. More current information for wider area needed. Even a map would have been helpful. Positive thing was a bottle of wine on arrival.
