This was our second stay at Pickerel Hideaway, the first was in 2021. We appreciate the roomy sleeping spaces, the screen porch, beautiful lake front and much more. Additional railings have been placed along the outdoor stairs leading to the lake. The kitchen is so well equipped and stocked with essentials for cooking. I suggest you check in first so see everything that is provided before you grocery shop. There are many lake toys that my family loved: paddle boards, kayak, paddle boat, row boat, and the favorite lily pad. We rented the pontoon and I recommend you do also. It's easy to operate and such fun for the family. There's plenty of parking, a great grassy yard for games like our "cousins' olympics," a fire ring with lots of seating and firewood. There's a convenient laundromat about a mile away and a fun little store/cafe/gas station in nearby Emmaville. Even with several users, the internet worked great.

Such a great place to rest and relax with the family. Kitchen was fully equipped for large dinners, and the house was immaculate. Amy is responsive and a pleasure to work with. And many thanks for getting the dock out early for us!

The property was amazing with an abundance of games. Many family memories were made, boating, bonfires and picturesque views.

We have been going to Minnesota fishing for 30 plus years. This has been the most comfortable and accommodating place yet. Amy was very helpful and pleasant. Kitchen was spacious and well equiped. Family friendly - ample seating for everyone. Plenty of parking. Lake view excellent.
