Loved the property and location. Suited our needs perfectly. Jason was a great host. We will be back for sure. The property is close to HWY 35 which is very busy so if you’re not used to traffic noise they do provide ear plugs for your comfort .

I am reluctant to leave a low rating because I don’t want it to affect the value of the owners investment. At the same time, I wish previous reviewers would have would have been more forthright about the major flaw with this property. This property is a showpiece, but the listing description indicates that it is located ”near” interstate 35/80, which is highly subjective and open to interpretation. So let me be specific about the properties proximity to interstate 35/80 and what we experienced during our stay. This property is no more than 50 yards away from 35/80 which has very high traffic volume all day and all night. There are no structures between this property and the interstate which might help to break up the sound of traffic. Additionally, this particular stretch of 35/80 has a long hill, so semi‘s use engine breaking to manage their speed down the hill, and the engine braking is LOUD. We had a three night reservation at this property, but left after the first night. It simply wasn’t possible for us to sleep with the incredibly loud traffic sounds. I traveled for a living and have spent hundreds if not a thousand nights in hotels, and have almost never had difficulty sleeping. At this property, I got maybe two hours of sleep and my wife didn’t sleep at all. I used sound machine apps on both my iPad and iPhone, plus earplugs, but still couldn’t drown out the traffic sounds.

First time visiting the Upper Mid West and was very fortunate to be able to stay on this beautiful property. Clean, roomy, beds were comfortable and everything was awesome. Location was great, for a first time visitor to the area everything seemed 10-15 minutes away. Not only that but great BBQ joint within walking distance, and lots of open areas, horses and the antique mall was great as well. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful property. Easy access to the area for getting around. The property looked to be pretty well outfitted if you wanted to make meals there. nice big bathroom and ample parking. Would stay there again.
