We originally booked the VBRO in October 2025 for July 1-8 as a family reunion retreat. April Two members had to back out for Mmedical surgery. The day before check in 6 others famiy had to cancel flights due to a death within the family. But the group of 4 advised they had the best time. The home was huge and would have been perfect for a large gatherings. The home is highly recommended

The property met all our needs for 8 adults and 8 children. It was great that all 4 couples had their own bathroom with an attached bathroom. The view from the deck down on the town of Lead and the surrounding hills and forests was impressive. Deer and turkeys were regular visitors. Day trips for all sites that the Black Hills has to offer were close at hand. It was a great house for entire family!

The property was very clean and roomy. The dining table was large enough to fit all of my family. The kitchen was very nice and roomy for 2-3 people to work there. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Loved the ensuite in each one.

We recently stayed at this wonderful property in Lead, South Dakota, with three couples, and it exceeded our expectations. There were so many bedrooms to choose from, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy. The beds were comfortable, and the large dining area easily accommodated our group with plenty of seating for meals and game nights.One of our favorite features was the outdoor deck overlooking the town and the SURF Sanford Underground Research Facility. The views were incredible, especially at night when the sky was filled with stars. We also enjoyed seeing the abundance of wildlife, including turkeys and deer, right in the area.The location was perfect for exploring the Black Hills. We were close to Deadwood's restaurants and attractions and had easy access to the Badlands, Devils Tower, Needles Highway, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and the famous 1880 Train. It was the ideal home base for our adventures.The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax after busy days of sightseeing. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. We would gladly stay here again!
