Smoky Mountain View was just that , million dollar view . Road is demanding especially on a bike but once you get there the cabin was well equipped, beds were very comfortable. Was the perfect for a place to decompress on our road trip thru the south .

The cabin was perfect for our family of 8. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house had everything you could need and then some. The host was very helpful if you needed anything. We are hoping to come back again.

My family (kids, sisters, nieces, nephew, parents) have come annually to the MV/W area for 5 years in the Fall. Thanks to Helene, we had to reschedule. No shade to our other stays, but this place was by far our favorite place! It was great to explore a different time of year. Absolutely perfect for us, honestly probably our best time!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. We had a family of nine stay for nine days and we all agreed that the views were spectacular.The house was wonderful. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need for cooking and eating. Very organized. We cooked at the house almost every night and didn’t find anything missing or needed. We also enjoyed grilling burgers out one night.The house was very clean and well laid out. There was plenty of room for everyone. There were card games, books, blankets, and throws for the cool evenings. We never turned on the TV as we were entertained by everything else.There were plenty of bath towels and towels for the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable.Everyone enjoyed the game room with billiards and foosball. The favorite game by far was Corn Hole. We had many spirited games in the driveway several nights. There was plenty of room in the driveway for three cars and even a garage that we didn’t need to utilize.We spent most of our time on the deck when at the house. The views were just amazing. We would recommend that there be outdoor cushions for the seating outside.The main negative we had was after a nine-hour drive to the house and going to the Realtors office to pick up the key (at least a 20 minute detour) we got to the house and the wrong key was in the envelope. It was after hours so we called the emergency number on the information packet that we picked up and received a return call within 10 minutes. We were given the code to a lock box at the house that had the right key inside. We all said that it would have been far simpler to have been given that information to start with rather than having to go all the way to the Realtor office to pick up a key. The second negative was that we only had one key to the house. With a large group, we broke up into different groups some days and it would have been nice for each group to have a key.
