Probleme mit dem Wasser

Dobrá lokalita, dobrá cena, skvělá komunikace, vstřícný personál, pokoj vyhovující

V pokoji byli mravenci.

Hospitalario desde el primer momento de llegada. No nos ha faltado de nada, a pesar de lo pequeñita que es la isla, nos vinieron a recoger y llevarnos las mochilas, a la habitacion no le falta de nada, y si quieres te la limpian cada dia. El desayuno era a una hora, y aun asi nos hicieron el favor de ponerlo antes para poder ir a bucear; ademas estaba buenísimo! El personal no pudo ser mas agradable, nos facilitaron tubo y aletas para poder ir ha hacer snorkel a nuestro aire, ademas nos ayudaron a reservar una salida de mantas raya y fue un trato super facil y directo, nos llevaron en un barquito privado en su busca! No podemos estar mas agradecidos del trato recibido!

- Helpful staff. - Excursion whale sharks / mantas (but expensive). - Comfortable bed. - The breakfast on the beach is really enjoyable, especially when they serve mas huni (tuna maldivian specialty). You can observe baby sharks in the water while eating. - Wifi is fast enough for youtube. About Dhangethi: - Good snorkeling at the bikini beach but shallow water (beware of low tide). - The water is marvellously beautiful (like everywhere in the Maldives). - One of the best places in the world to see whale sharks and manta rays. - Several small supermarkets open quite late (until around 10-11 pm). - Several good restaurants, relatively cheap, including two open until midnight everyday. - The island is pretty small, so you can walk everywhere very easily and there is almost no traffic (just a few scooters).

- No excursions/activities organised. Only if you ask and expensive. But instead you can go to the nearby dive center. - Rooms are not soundproof. Some of them are even only separated by a mild door. - Old furniture, shelves on the verge of collapsing. The window in the bathroom is broken and you can't close it completely. Everything seems old and bad quality except a few things like the bed. The hotel needs a complete renovation. - Not very clean: unidentified stains on the linen, insect stains on the walls. In 2 weeks they cleaned the room only twice and they just swept the floor. - Shower water not always warm. - The maldivian breakfast is really good but most of the time it's just a sausage, an omelet and a few toasts. - The beach nearby is not very clean. The bikini beach is around 5 minutes away. It's fine but worth mentioning because the other comments let you think the nearby beach is the bikini beach. Overall it was disappointing for a hotel rated 9.2/10 on booking and 5 stars on google maps! About Dhangethi: - Prices at the supermarket are not displayed and vary depending of who is at the checkout (sometimes a bottle of water is 6 rufiyaas, sometimes 10). - The ATM is brand new but some days it doesn't work and supermarkets don't take credit cards. So you'd better bring some rufiyaas with you just in case. - No drinking water on the island, you need to buy bottles (at a random price). - Plenty of broken chairs on the bikini beach, toilets not very clean. - Don't forget to bring mosquito repellent. You can also buy some at the local supermarkets.
