Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was fabulous! Everything was perfect except for the sargassum outside the unit. There were men there almost every day to try to clear it away but unfortunately they weren’t able to keep up with the enormous amount at this time of year. The condo, however had everything we needed during our trip and the amount of space was perfect. I would stay here again at a different time of year due to the seaweed, but overall it was an excellent stay!

Our group of 4 stayed here for 6 nights in early April and had a wonderful time! Unit was clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy walk to a lagoon for snorkeling and to a few nearby restaurants. There were a couple small stores nearby. The pool was great and much used by us since the beach at the condo had too much sargassum to be usable. We rented an on site golf cart two of the days and used it to go to Playa Akumel. We felt completely safe at all times. We would definitely return!

We loved Playa Caribe 9. The condo itself was beautiful. Super comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Fantastic views and breezes. Location was walkable to everywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is very well maintained. The sargassum was horrible when we were there. So no ocean walks or swims but we took the gamble. We still had a wonderful vacation in Akumal.

The views are breathtaking. We woke up each morning with a coffee on the balcony overlooking the sunrise and listening to the waves crash against the beach. We felt super safe in the gated community and also a few great restaurants within walking distance. If you’re looking for crazy nightlife, Akumal is not the right fit.. If you’re looking into a relaxing getaway, look no further!Excited to come back!
