La Magnolia B&B

We enjoyed our stay to the fullest! The whole space as well as our room was spotless and well equipped. The breakfast was fresh with a lot of homemade and local products. The location was perfect to get a break from all the tourists and we felt very safe in the neighbourhood. What made the stay truly outstanding though are the hosts Franca and Sara (and Margo🤩)! The two are so kind and hard-working. You feel their love for detail in everything, starting with Franca's warm welcome and her breakfast to Sara's great recommendations for food or getting around the city. They were always there to help and left no wish unfullfilled. Due to a cancellation of my girlfriend's flight on a very short notice, she arrived one day later and Sara chose not to charge for that night - in economic times like this not everyone would do that and we appreciated it a lot. Also for any other problems that were out of their control, the two always made sure to find a solution :)

Everything. Sara and her mother are so nice and welcoming. I wish I could have stayed longer. My room was lovely, breakfast was really good and location only 20 mins walk to main area.

Beautiful and clean.

10/10!! a true home away from home in Bologna. The property is beautiful and perfectly located just outside Bologna’s historic centre. We could easily walk into the city, while still enjoying a quiet evening and calm morning away from the crowds. The highlight of our stay was Franca and Sara, the most wonderful hosts. Franca welcomed us with a warm hug and a huge smile, and her daughter Sarah had been exceptionally kind and helpful from the very first message. They gave us excellent recommendations and made everything feel easy and personal. The B&B is their great grandparents’ villa, and you can genuinely feel how much love and care have gone into every detail. Our room had excellent air conditioning, and the windows and shutters could be completely closed, allowing us to sleep in total darkness without being woken by the morning light. Breakfast was delicious and had everything we needed-especially Franca’s chocolate cake and Sarah’s incredible homemade breads, which were so good that I even asked for the recipe! They also allowed us to leave our car in the garage for an additional day for a very small fee, which helped us enormously. Every request was met with a smile. We are so happy that we chose to stay here. If we return to Bologna, there is no question that this will be our place to stay again.
