Our host Patrice was so welcoming and helpful, giving us information about parking and the market and the area. There is free parking within walking distance but to park in front of the house it is about 8.50 euros per day, with 2 hours free over lunch time.The house is beautiful and well equiped. The garden is a dream to sit in. And the airco in the living room was highly appreciated in the hot weather we had. Within max 2 minutes walking you're in the town centre with a baker, a traiteur/charcutier, a small supermarket etc. The castle is in the town centre about 10 minutes walking uphill or upstairs.The weekly market is on saturday morning. We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend this place.

Great location within Blois. Courtyard garden lovely.Proximity to the road may be an issue for some, but it was fine for us, and we enjoyed the proximity this gave to the town and river.

Patrice was very welcoming & the maison just as seen in the pictures. Very pretty walled garden. Free parking within an easy stroll, central place, restaurants, corner store, and site of wonderful Saturday market, a short walk from the house. Convenient location for touring the Loire chateaux.

The apartment is in a good location we could easily walk to the Blois Royal castle and many restaurants, we had a car and parking was easy. The street noise was not an issue as has been mentioned in previous reports.
