No fuss. Historic hotel right on the water in quaint, historic Mangonui. Stunning views of the harbour from the balcony. Expected the eccentricities of a building of this age, and while the room did not have a private ensuite, it was right across the hall. The rooms were clean, the furniture and furnishings adequate, the linen clean and the tv with Netflix.

Good value. Comfortable bed. Was pleased to find a guest kitchen so we could make a simple breakfast for ourselves.
Would have like a guest lounge or even just a small seating area so we could have a cuppa or breakfast without one person having to sit on the bed.

The beds were so comfy.
The shower head was directed at the wall and it was difficult to alter the water temperature.

Classic old hotel! Old and dated with a lovely heritage vibe. Staff are awesome. Bed was very comfortable. Great view and location.
Was quite noisey with the pub below being open until 1am.
