Our beautiful 70 m² vacation home, “Am Waldesrand,” in Sögel, featuring a private garden with a terrace, is the perfect base for hikes in the Hümmling Nature Park, bike tours through the Emsland region, and relaxing walks through the Clemenswerth Castle grounds—which are about 800 m away and cover an area of 42 ha.

The comfortably furnished, single-story vacation home “Am Waldesrand” can accommodate up to three people and has been lovingly decorated. In 2024, our vacation home underwent extensive renovations and was further “spruced up.”

You can now enjoy a new, well-equipped kitchen, a cozy, modern living room for relaxing, a bedroom with a double bed, a twin bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.

Two simple bicycles are available free of charge for short bike rides. A storage room is available for any bicycles you bring with you.

After an eventful and wonderful day in the Emsland region, you can relax in the garden with its patio or enjoy a barbecue with friends.

Your dog is also very welcome here! You can access the forest directly from the garden through a gate. This guarantees lovely, relaxing walks with your dog right on your doorstep. The fully fenced property of our vacation home offers your dog plenty of space to roam.

A nearby playground in the Sögel vacation home area ensures fun for our younger guests.

It’s about 1,500 meters to the center of Sögel, a state-recognized resort town—where you’ll find plenty of shopping options, bakeries, and restaurants.

As guests in the Sögel vacation home area, you can enjoy a wide range of recreational activities in the town of Sögel (prices subject to change):
- At the “Fitness & Gesundheit Sögel” gym (approx. 1,600 m from the vacation home area) and Era-Gym Sögel (approx. 2,500 m from the vacation home area): free weight area, cardio equipment, strength training machines, and various classes / day pass: 10.00 EUR per person, including water and mineral drinks
- Sauna area at the Hotel Clemenswerther Hof with two saunas (60°C and 90°C) / 1,500 meters from the vacation home area / Fee: 12.50 EUR per person per day, including water and tea / Please bring your own towels and, if needed, a bathrobe

The Sögel vacation home area will be expanded at the end of 2026. Noisy construction work will begin in November 2026 and end in March 2027. No construction work will take place between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Quiet hours in the Sögel vacation home area will be observed even during construction!
