Our extended family had a wonderful time at this home. The property is beautiful and is very well maintained. Easy instructions from management, everything worked well, we had no problems with anything at all. The location is excellent. We enjoyed the beaches 15-20 minutes away, Seaworld, and Legoland both about 1/2 hour. Kroger was only 4 miles away and Costco 1/2 hour. Our morning walkers and runners enjoyed the paths and the pretty neighborhood. We enjoyed Annies trail and the slot canyon, even the 4 year-olds had no trouble, and it was a real adventure for them and the other grandkids (We hiked from the trailhead on Rios Ave). We enjoyed the Rancho Santa Fe farmers market. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a blast making pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven. The highlight for the grandkids is always the pool and hot tub. Movie night in the theatre room was a treat for the grandkids too. Once the grandkids were in bed we had many card games in the game room. We had a perfect vacation and made lots of great memories. We would love to stay here again.

What an incredible stay!!! This home was over the top fabulous. A gorgeous property and grounds, yet so very comfortable and inviting to our 4 generation family I year to 80! We spent the days together by the pool, meandering in the beautiful gardens, making memorable yet simple meals in the fabulous kitchen and grill with everything you would need, generously provided. Evenings playing games or gathering at the fire pit. Plenty of space to gather or be alone. The sauna was a hit. Friendly competition at the pitch and putt, darts, croquet, or corn hole. The communication with the owner was immediate friendly and helpful, so kind, so generous. We have booked VRBOs throughout US, Europe and Mexico and this was definitely at the top. Everyone is looking forward to return! FABULOUS 5 STAR PLUS! Thanks and gratitude to the Shearer family for sharing their beautiful home!

Beautiful property, lots of gathering spaces, everything in the house high quality & lots to do at the house. Close to beach, downtown San Diego, airport & more.

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful property. The renters were wonderful about checking in on us and ensuring that had everything that we needed for our stay. The property is well maintained and equipped with everything you would want to create memories with family and friends.
