Płyny pod prysznic, do rąk i mycia naczyń bardzo rozcieńczone z wodą, ciężko działający zamek w łazience, brak kontaktów koło łóżek, z prysznica lała się woda poza kabinę, w hotelowej wodzie znajdowała się tabletka (nie wiadomo skąd się wzięła) przez co musieliśmy wyrzucić napoje oraz jedzenie przyrządzane w niej, personel nie był w stanie odpowiedzieć co to za tabletka i skąd tam się wzięła, do tej pory nie mam pojęcia jak to się wydarzyło

We had a wonderful stay at Zeus Throne II. The place is beautifully located far from noise and 5-minute drive from a long, non-touristy Agios Georgios beach. There was a good sunset place a short walk from there. Also the Afionas village itself is worth visiting. To be true, we didn't really have a seaview from the groundfloor room, instead, the view over the mountains was very soothing - especially during the sunrise. The room was surprisingly large and well equipped. The view from the restaurant was indeed spectacular. The restaurant itself served delicious food, we especially recommend grilled vegetables. Last but not least, we would like to thank the lovliest guys in the restaurant who were always there to help us out.

They kindly welcomed us at the restaurant and offered us some juice while we waited to get our keys. The room was clean, with a balcony offering a bit of sea view, but mostly blocked by trees and buildings. The room had twin beds which we were able to stick together, even though we requested a double bed. It was equipped with basic kitchen appliances and utensils for some basic food preparation which is good. The bathroom was nice, clean and new. The furniture in the rest of the appartment was ok.

Staying at Zeus Throne was a mixed experience. The AC unit is installed right above the bed, so when we had it on during night, it was quite uncomfortable. The cabinet under sink, after opening, had a very distinctive mold smell. Closed it right away and never opened it again. We had an uncomfortable situation with the towels. It says on the leaflet that towels get changed twice a week. This is understandable to me. We stayed for three nights and were expecting that maybe after the second night we would get new ones - one had a slight discoloring already when we got it. When this was not the case, we went to the reception asking if we could get new ones anyways. The person responsible got into sort of an argumentative position explaining to us why it is a problem, why we cannot get new ones and so on. In the end, after about 10 minutes we were able to get one new one. While I understand and am ok with the towels not being changed every day in this kind of accommodation, I really would expect that upon our specific request, there would be zero problem with us getting new ones, especially when one was not completely clean the moment we got it. This was not very customer-facing behavior. Overall, would not come back to Zeus Throne II. Seems like we didn’t get our value for money at all. I don’t understand how it got such high rating. It’s also important to note that there are two accommodations next to each other - Zeus Throne II and Zeus Throne Suites. Also, the whole neighborhood did not seem too accommodating to us, filled with overpriced restaurants and places (with few exceptions).
