Beautiful place with beautiful views. Clean and well appointed. Easy to get to places.

The La Bahia No. 1 is a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful condo with walkout patio to the beach and beach chairs (with palapas). It is well maintained. The only minor issues we encountered were quickly addressed by onsite management.It is an easy walk to Akumal Centre and Akumal Bay, and better yet, to Yal-Ku Lagoon for snorkeling. We did all of these. This was our second trip to Akumal (and La Bahia in particular), and it was fabulous. I will say the sea weed in front of the condo hinders access into the water (as well as a rocky bottom) but there are other nearby accessible spots to enter.I would definitely recommend this unit if you are looking for a relaxing vacation with only the sound of waves crashing.
