There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with an open fire. Outside there is off-road parking beside the cottage and access to the castle estate. Access is via the front door which has a step, and there are three internal steps down into the living/dining area, the area by the front door is cobbled. If the Accommodation becomes inaccessible due to bad weather the National Trust for Scotland will take all reasonable steps to inform you and to offer an alternative National Trust for Scotland property.
