All quiet and peaceful except for one young person deliberately trying to make a noise. I will NEVER like having to put my clothes on the floor, who removed the drawers?

The area is stunning and the house majestic, but it was a pity there was no historical information about it. Accommodation comfortable but the kitchen was very cramped. Some of the nails on the joins between the rooms stuck out and caught my feet.

Ability to book private use of the pool and other facilities. Comfortable accommodation.

Lovely and quiet, hardly saw a soul. Surrounded by super places to eat, lots of walks locally and within a short drive. Unfortunately, the Velux window at the top of the stairs would not open-again, having been operational last year. It vents hot air and would have been hugely beneficial. Also, the chest of drawers from the main bedroom is now at the top of the stairs, leaving 2 guests (out of 6) with NOWHERE to hang clothes. We're not all overnighters, for me at least SH is my second home.
