A small village pub, good for links to York and the East coast.Had a self catering room in the garden which was brilliant everything you needed, very private and secure. Also a bedroom which was a good size. We had a fantastic breakfast.

Stuart and Lily are the perfect hosts. The cottage was perfect for us, clean, self contained, quiet. Lily made sure we had everything we needed, she was fantastic. We will be definitely going here again and would recommend The Thompson Arms to anyone.
