Walking distance to the 55S Packwood airport. Easy walk to Packwood Brewing, Mountain Goat Coffee, and Cowlitz River access for anglers. Clean and comfortable. Although on the main road - it doesn’t feel like it. Quiet and private backyard. Will rent this place again.

The home looked just like the pictures and the location and space were great. We appreciated that each room had an attached bathroom as well as the kitchen being fully stocked. Can’t wait to stay here again for another winter getaway!

To start with, the place is very nice. It's updated, nicely decorated, clean, and in a great location in Packwood. There's plenty of blankets, the kitchen is well-equipped, and there's games in the living room for family entertainment. The rough bits were we didn't get the check-in information until we were literally standing on the front porch (my understanding is that this was a mishap that normally doesn't happen) and the AC units were super finicky (one of the bedrooms was the North Pole for our one-night stay). The host was responsive when I told him about the AC issue the next day. I do not see either of these issues as any kind of long term problem and if anything they go to show how response the host is. If you stay here, check out the Packwood Brewing Co. and the Mountain Goat Coffee Company, both are within easy walking distance of the house. Overall, a very nice place and I'd stay here again if I ever found myself in Packwood again.
