I almost canceled for threat of bad weather all week. So thankful I didn't. It was so peaceful and other than hot weather we had a wonderful time. The owners made sure we were good and even though we didn't need anything, I felt like if I needed something, they would have quickly handled it.Someone else was right, you could stay in bed. but too much to explore. The kitchen had about everything you could need and stocked with essentials. Actually, my 13 yr old granddaughter, who rarely leaves her mother, said "It is weird, I usually don't like being away from home, but here I feel like I'm just next door". That made me so happy. They loved Mt View, said it felt so much safer than the city they live in. My 14 yr old grandson got his first banjo. My son, their dad, also played and sang at the park, and also spent lots of time at the music store and dulcimer shop. If you want a laid back, relaxing vacation, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE! We go every fall, loved the cabin and you better believe we will be back soon.Only one warning, make sure you have a vehicle that can go up a steep gravel road. We had No problem in a Honda Pilot or a big Yukon. Thanks coach!

Excellent !!!

This place is great

This cabin was exactly what we wanted for a weekend trip. Very clean, spacious, comfortable beds, and both porches gave places to unwind. The kitchen was fully stocked with necessary cooking supplies; all you need to provided are food/drinks! Easy front entrance and ample parking space. The hosts were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. If you're looking for privacy and rocking chairs to enjoy a breezy porch, this is the place! (Very convenient to downtown and all tourist attractions)
