There were six couples on this trip. (all older - 50's and above) We had a great time. Kitchen was well appointed. Extra small refrigerator in the tower was great. Plenty of places to sit and relax. Lovely porch. For those considering a stay at the property you should know the following: There are two bedrooms in the main house with ensuite bathrooms. There is a half bath in the hall. The tower has a bedroom with ensuite bathroom which is on the bottom floor along with a nice sitting area, kitchen area and another bath. The second floor of the tower has the four other bedrooms. One has a twin bed. The three others have trundle beds (single bed with a single bed that pulls out from the foot board.) You have to go up a spiral staircase to the second floor of the tower. The third floor of the tower has a beautiful walkaround view. We would definitely stay again. We could have used more towels as there was one per guest.

Beautiful home in the woods. Very quiet and serene, very isolated. Lovely great room, large deck outside with a view of Mt Rushmore. We had an issue with the refrigerator but the host replied promptly and has tried to get this resolved. The scenery is just fantastic . We appreciated the fact that all our needs were anticipated as the nearest store was 20 minutes drive away. It works for a family get together

The house is in a beautiful setting, is spacious and perfect for a family reunion/vacation. The children loved the “tower” while the adults loved the gathering space in the great room with views of Mount Rushmore in the distance. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Our family had a great week in the Black Hills and our “home” that week made it all possible!

The location, surrounding community and the house itself was all that was marketed and more. Truly enjoyed our stay, the multiple porches, kitchen and family room space exceeded our expectations and provided plenty of room for all of us (8 adults). Would highly recommend!
