Daen’s Greenhouse

We loved this place! We got to stay on the top floor with the balcony which was a nice surprise. The furniture, decor and color choices created exactly the vibe we hoped for… then being right above a plant store was cool. The coffee shop, Keen, across the street was great to have nearby as well.

We don’t get too bothered by sound problems and expected a little given the location. There were a few drunk yellers at night, but nothing too crazy. Thankful for the provided earplugs though I didn’t end up needing to use them.

It was clean and comfortable. Martina was very welcoming and our luggage was taken up to our room! We didn’t mind our room overlooking the square or some of the noise. We turned the tv on to a relaxing station and had a small fan with us that drowned out any noise. The room was nice and big. Perfect location

stylish & convenient

no mechanical ventilation system or fans, therefore only way to get air circulation to exhaust humidity from shower etc was to crack a window open. However the noise from the area was very loud and made sleeping very difficult- even with windows & curtains closed. curtains

The location is superb. Great central hotel and the lady who welcomed us was so nice.

The room was quite upside down. Very narrow spiral staircase to get to the bathroom or make a drink. Large steep stairs to the room, very narrow. It was very noisy. We slept very little with loud noise until at least 3.30am-4am. Then building works started right outside our room. One morning waking up to having a man looking right into our bathroom. To make it worse they started working on the outside of our building at around 6.30am. I would have liked to have been notified of all of this and then had the choice to change my booking. Sadly I will not be going back.
